Gods and Goddesses

The Three Goddesses: The daughters of the Sky goddess Iris and her Consort Brin the spirit of cliffs and stone. once they were born their mother and father gave them gifts and names of what they ruled. Their names are: Luna, Solara, and Faia.

Luna: Also know as the Lady of Lace is the eldest of daughters of Iris and Brin. She took more after her father and became the goddess of the moon and hunter of the three goddesses. She was the one who created the the elves and also introduced weaving and hunting to her people.

She’s also married the Trickster God of the North Flickron, to the stop the war between the three Goddesses and the Northern Gods. They had a child which they had to give up because of a promise that her husband made to his dying sister before they married.

Solara: The middle sister and daughter of Iris and Brin she was given the power of the sun. She was one who created humans with power of both her mother and father. She has a distaste for an mortal that wasn’t a human. There was rumor passed around minor gods and goddesses that she had killed the first elf and human couple and left the child of that pair in the woods to be devoured by wolves.

Solar also hates Flickron, because she thinks of him only as the fool. The one who took her sister away from her. Even though she seems cold she does help her brother-in-law and sisters if time and need call for it.

Faia: The youngest of Iris and Brin, Faia got most of her power from her father. She’s the ruler of green. She’s known as the goddess of the forest and Animals. Faia is also known for healer goddess for humans. At least those who are close to nature and respect it. She has followers in all kinds of mortals from humans to shifters in the far North.

Faina is the goddess who can give healers visions. She does this to guide them and help figure out their healing spells. In other cases, her visions give healers a path to their fates.

The Northern Gods: A group of Gods and Goddesses who rule the lands to the North of Kardian. They are elder gods who classed with goddesses when they’re people entered the land of the Goddesses.

Father Sky: The father of all Northern Gods and the Ruler of the Northern Gods and Goddesses. He’s always picture and described as a father-like man. He controls the Sky and storms. Father Sky also is very strategic and was the one who offered the wedding between the Three goddesses and Northern Gods to bring peace.

Flickron: Northern God of Tricksters, Jesters, travelers, and performers. He’s the youngest son of Father Sky and the maker of shifters. Flickron also gives the ability for dragons to shift between their dragon form and human form.

Flickron married the Goddess Luna to stop the war between the Northern Gods and the three Goddesses. Unknown to many that he had already see Luna and had deiced to marry her even if he had to trick her. He didn’t have to though because Luna loved him also.

Tanth: The once princess of a Southern kingdom, she was power hungry and was sealed away until she was awakened by one of her blood.

Mortals

(Book one: Mix Blood)

Astrid: One of the main characters of Mix blood and the Lunar series. She’s an elf and shifter mix who saves a young babe that changes her life. She also has ties to both Flickron and Luna (see book to find out more)

Aidan: The young babe that Astrid saved. The son of Keyne and adoptive son of Astrid.

Keyne: The dragon who saves both Astrid and Aidan. He’s the father of Aidan and falls in love with Astrid. He loves her so much he pushes her away to protect her from the Dance of Flares.

Blagdon: Cousin of Keyne and in line to be the next Dragen or dragon king. He also wants Astrid to be his mate.

Damion: Member of The Wild Hunt and part of the Pridus clan to the South. He helps Astrid in her mission to find and Help Keyne.

Maia: Blagdon’s mother, a Solara’s priestess who wants to start a war that would destroy elves and shifters.

(Characters for book two)

Ingrid: Astrid’s adoptive sister and the main character in the 2nd book. She is sold to Lord Gael and is chosen by Faia to protect her sister and Anwel.

Anwil: The servant of Gael and an adoptive son of a dragon. He has followed his master all his life and has helped in killing many dragons. Yet he is called to a new path that would change his life and the world he lives in.

Lord Gael: A younger lord who is a dragon slayer. His grandfather started killing dragons and it fell to him to carry on the tradition.

Freki and Badar: The two servants that have been with Gael the longest, one is a gray wolf shifter the other an elf.

Tanth: A fallen woman who has become the traitor to the gods. She wants to rule the land and she’s been released by one of her blood.
